Indian Harness Industries is a leading manufacturer of high-quality automobile parts, committed to excellence in design, production, and delivery. With a reputation for reliability and precision, we specialize in providing a comprehensive range of components for Mahindra & Mahindra and SML Isuzu. We are seeking a skilled and motivated New Product Development Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and introducing new products and improvement to our existing product line. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, mechanical design and product lifecycle management with an emphasis on Sheetmetal fabrication and machining. Key responsibilities: New product development and designing. Manufacturing and process improvement. Project Management and Quality Management. Product and Process management. Testing and validation of new products. Plant layout improvement and ERP implementation. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 10 to 15 years experience in product development and quality management. Knowledge of Sheetmetal fabrication and machining processes. Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of industry standards, quality control procedures and product testing methods.
