What does the Head Product Development do The Head of Product Development will lead the strategy, design, and execution of cutting-edge AI-powered products. This role involves overseeing the end-to-end development lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration of Gen AI capabilities into innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AI/ML, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in building AI-driven products that deliver business value. What does your day look like as a Head Product Development at Value Health Inc Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the Gen AI product roadmap aligned with business goals and market needs. Product Development: Lead and oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered products, ensuring high scalability, security, and performance. Team Management: Build, mentor, and lead a team of AI researchers, engineers, and product managers to drive innovation and execution. AI Research & Innovation: Stay at the forefront of Generative AI advancements, identifying opportunities to enhance products with state-of-the-art AI techniques. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, marketing, and sales, to ensure successful product launches and adoption. Technical Oversight: Guide the implementation of ML models, algorithms, and frameworks to optimize performance and efficiency. Customer-Centric Approach: Gather market feedback, analyse user needs, and ensure AI solutions align with customer expectations and business objectives. Compliance & Ethics: Ensure adherence to AI governance, ethical AI practices, data privacy laws, and regulatory compliance in all AI-driven solutions. Budget & Resource Allocation: Manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively to meet project deadlines and company goals. Qualifications Masters in computer science, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in product development, with at least 5 years in AI/ML, and 3+ years leading AI-driven product teams. Strong expertise in Generative AI technologies such as LLMs (Large Language Models), NLP, GANs, Transformers, and multimodal AI. Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs, and cloud AI services. Proven ability to scale AI solutions from concept to production in real-world applications. Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of AI monetization strategies. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience working in a fast-paced, agile startup or enterprise environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for AI deployment. Knowledge of MLOps best practices, including model monitoring and continuous improvement. Exposure to ethical AI frameworks and responsible AI principles. Strong understanding of UI/UX considerations in AI-driven products. Prior experience in product development.
