Job Description

Location: Chennai (Work From Office) Role Overview Will be responsible for financial strategy, regulatory compliance, and Investor Relations. Lead financial planning, reporting, and capital allocation, balancing innovation with profitability. The role holder will collaborate with leadership to drive growth, manage risks, and align financial performance with long-term business goals. Responsibilities Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. Capital Management: Oversee capital allocation strategies, and optimizing return on investments while managing cash flow and liquidity. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial reporting standards, SEBI requirements, and governance regulations. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a primary liaison with investors, analysts, and board members, articulating the companys financial performance and growth strategies. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including market volatility, compliance risks, and operational challenges. Performance Metrics: Track and analyze KPIs, providing actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency. Mergers & Acquisitions: Lead due diligence and integration efforts for acquisitions, partnerships to enhance market position. Innovation & Incubation: Ensure financial viability of incubated initiatives and product development, balancing innovation with profitability. Team Development: Enhance the finance team capabilities and performance Automation: Lead Automation initiatives within finance function for higher efficiency Legal: Familiarity with handling a Legal team and its related roles and responsibilities Qualifications Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent 18+ years in finance, with 10+ years in senior leadership roles in finance Experience in the consumer tech or technology vertical Familiarity with public company operations, including regulatory compliance, investor relations, and capital markets.
