Job Title: Manager, Site Reliability Engineering Location: Remote Reports To: Director, Systems & Security FLSA Status: Exempt We are seeking a Manager, Site Reliability Engineering to lead a dynamic, remote team of Site Reliability Engineers (SRE). Reporting to the Director of Systems and Security, you will drive operational excellence, technical mentorship, and strategic alignment with organizational goals. This role is critical in ensuring the team meets its objectives while maintaining a high-performing culture and efficient service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a remote team of SREs, aligning team activities with organizational priorities. Oversee daily operations, including incident management, technical support, and infrastructure maintenance. Act as the point of escalation for complex technical issues, collaborating cross-functionally to resolve them. Ensure adherence to SLAs, maintaining high customer satisfaction levels. Mentor and develop team members, driving growth in technical skills and problem-solving. Identify and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency and reliability. Collaborate with teams across Engineering, Product, and Operations to enhance platform performance. Lead team meetings, performance reviews, and ongoing development sessions. Report key performance metrics and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. Stay current on industry trends and best practices, ensuring the team is equipped with the latest tools and techniques. Qualifications: Proven experience in managing technical teams, preferably in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related fields. Strong technical background in cloud computing and infrastructure management (AWS, Linux-based systems). Experience managing remote and distributed teams. Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and root-cause analysis skills. Familiarity with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of incident management practices and ticketing systems. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a technical field. Preferred Qualifications: AWS certification (any level). Experience in customer-facing technical roles, focused on service delivery.
