Job Description Company Secretary (IRDAI)Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance (IRDAI):
Handling compliance requirements related to IRDAI, including Quarterly, Half-Yearly, and Annual filings.
Preparing and filing Quarterly, Half-Yearly, and Annual Returns with IRDAI.
Preparing reports for submission to IRDAI for event-based and regular compliance.
Managing the IRDAI Internal Audit on a half-yearly basis.
Liaison & Communication:
Liaising with IRDAI, Registrar of Companies (ROC), GST, and Income Tax officers for various compliance matters.
Ensuring timely responses and submissions to regulatory authorities.
Corporate Governance & Advisory:
Advising the Board on matters related to IRDAI regulations, corporate law, labour law, and other compliance areas.
Ensuring adherence to corporate governance norms and regulatory frameworks.
RBI Compliance:
Managing and ensuring compliance with RBI regulations applicable to the organization.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Qualified Company Secretary (CS).
5 to 12 years of experience in handling IRDAI and RBI compliances.
Prior experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, corporate governance, and financial compliance.
Excellent communication and liaison skills to interact with regulatory authorities.
