- Job Description The Pre-Press Project Manager will hold a pivotal role, overseeing various aspects of the pre-press process, including publishing, typesetting, and graphics. This role demands profound technical knowledge and experience with a range of software tools used in the graphic design and publishing industry. The candidate should be well-acquainted with managing teams and be capable of ensuring the streamlined execution of projects. Qualifications and Technical Knowledge Must be a Graduate. Technical knowledge in publishing, typesetting, and graphics is essential. Proficiency in a range of software including InDesign, Quark, PageMaker, Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and FrameMaker. Familiarity with MS Office tools: Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. Experience in handling and managing teams is crucial. Key Responsibilities Project Management: Oversee and manage various pre-press projects, ensuring timely and quality execution. Coordinate with different departments and teams to ensure seamless workflow and project completion. Technical Oversight: Utilize extensive technical knowledge in publishing, typesetting, and graphics to manage projects efficiently. Employ various software tools proficiently to meet project requirements and goals. Team Management: Lead and manage the team effectively to foster a collaborative and productive environment. Handle team-related concerns and ensure that the team is aligned with project goals and objectives. Quality Assurance: Monitor project outputs closely to ensure adherence to quality standards. Resolve any issues related to project quality promptly and efficiently. Skills Strong organizational and project management skills. Proficiency in utilizing a variety of software tools related to graphics and publishing. Excellent team management and leadership skills. Ability to ensure quality and resolve issues efficiently.
