Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a VB6 Developer (VB.Net & C#) located in Dubai UAE. Primary Skill- VB6 Developer with Airline Experience Job Description: We are looking for an experienced VB6 Developer (VB.Net & C#) with a strong background in the airline industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in maintaining and enhancing legacy VB6 applications, integrating with airline systems such as PSS, GDS, DCS, or Revenue Management, and working with complex data structures. Required Skills & Qualifications: 7-10 years of experience in VB6 development. Strong understanding of airline domain concepts (PSS, GDS, IET, DCS, etc.). Experience working with SQL Server / Oracle databases for airline data management. Hands-on experience with APIs and integrations related to airline systems. Familiarity with IATA standards, e-ticketing, and interline agreements is a plus. Knowledge of migrating legacy applications to .NET (VB.NET, C#) or modern platforms is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced airline IT environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Sabre, Amadeus, Travelport, or other airline reservation systems. Exposure to modern development methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
