Oracle Database Administrator Job in EVC @ Infinite Computer

Job Description

Location: Gurgaon, India Timings: 05:30 PM - 02:30 AM IST Responsibilities: Administers multiple Oracle RDBMS and application server environments on multiple operating systems Ensure availability and performance of Oracle databases in support of applications. Technical Planning Define goals and objectives for database or Web server administration requirements. Develop work break down structures (time and activity plan) to accomplish objectives. Administration of Enterprise Web Application Services Install, upgrade, and patch systems including managing security and assuring adequate capacity. Monitor performance for Web Application servers and enterprise systems (e.g. Oracle WebLogic, Tomcat, enterprise services etc.). Owning and resolving problems and managing customer expectations throughout the Service Request lifecycle. Develop and implement the backup and recovery strategy as well as cloning/recovery validation for all technology and ERP application components Recommends actions and provide analysis & troubleshooting for possible hardware, software, network, process, and system failures Working towards, adopting and contributing to new processes and tools (diagnostic methodology, health checks, scripting tools, etc.) Thoroughly Create, Publish, and Maintain documentation on the processes, procedures, and administration activities for global practices or unique customer requirement as it relates to the services offered Required Skills & Experience: 3+ Years of Oracle Database Administration (11g,12c) Enterprise Manager (OEM) Strong Technical Experience and substantial understanding of Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) Exposure to Oracle Dataguard,RAC, STREAMS Familiarity with using Enterprise Middleware, Oracle Application Server, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle Forms and Reports Services Experience with Apache HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat Server, Java, SQL, PL/SQL. Strong Performance Tuning skills Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Ability to be flexible; quick learner; focused, detail oriented. Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) is a plus Ability to travel to Unites States occasionally.,
