- Job Summary: Join the Workspace ONE Intelligence team and play a key role in shaping the future of digital workspaces. Our team is responsible for building, deploying, and managing the AWS-based Workspace ONE Intelligence cloud service. With a focus on transforming how customers engage with digital workspaces, we leverage analytics, machine learning, and AI to deliver innovative solutions that drive critical decision-making, enhance end user experience, ensure security, and automate IT processes and remediation. We are passionate about rapidly developing high-quality software and applying automation and software engineering best practices to everything we do. We work with the latest AWS technologies and open-source components. Key Responsibilities Mentor and guide team members, supporting their professional growth and development. Lead the team in creating a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive workplace culture that is laser focused on excellence. Lead the planning and execution of feature development, ensuring on-time delivery by coordinating with development teams, managing project timelines, and mitigating potential risks. Engage in all phases of software development, including requirements, design and coding. Provide technical leadership and guidance for the team with code reviews, design reviews, and technical insights. Promote a culture of high ownership, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence within the team. Remove obstacles for the team, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications 12+ years of experience in software engineering, including 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Java and related technologies such as Spring, and at least 2-3 years in a managerial position. Experience managing large, complex software development projects from initiation to delivery, particularly in agile environments. Demonstrated ability to deliver meaningful products for customers and really understand what problems customers are trying to solve. Experience with hiring, team building, and talent management that focuses on the growth and success of team members. Experience with microservice architecture and building high-performance, scalable systems on cloud platforms, preferably AWS. Excellent problem-solving abilities, technical leadership, and a proactive mindset for continuous learning and improvement. Proficient in DevOps practices, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD processes. Performance Goals First 2 Months: Complete onboarding processes, and familiarize yourself with Omnissas standard operating procedures. Develop a solid understanding of the Intelligence platform architecture. 3-6 Months: Develop an in-depth understanding of the Intelligence product, becoming a subject matter expert in key components of the data pipeline and platform. Build relationships with key stakeholders, including product management, cross-functional teams, and senior leadership. 6-12 Months: Take ownership of a major feature, ensuring they are delivered on time, and with high quality. Coordinate resources and priorities to ensure the team delivers value to the business and aligns with overall goals. Work closely with internal and external teams, including product management and the UI team, to define and deliver the necessary solutions. Build a strong reputation of leadership within the team and demonstrate influence in the team. Location: Bangalore (Flexible): This role offers a balanced arrangement with three days a week in the office and the flexibility to work from home on the remaining days.
