Job Description
Position: MIS Data Analyst - Logistics
Location: Mumbai
Reporting Structure:
Position reports to: Head Logistics
Positions reporting in: 3PL Service partners
Key Responsibilities:
1.Warehouse Operations:
oMonitor and track the performance of day-to-day warehouse KPIs like Invoice performance, dispatch performance and delivery performance etc., and highlight the insights to management on performance track.
oDevelop dashboard to have insights and ongoing performance against functional objective for inventory control, SIT, stock rotation, and Defective inventory level.
oAnalyze Inbound and Outbound performance on daily basis as part of Daily dashboard.
oDevelop dashboard to overview on the insights of warehouse operating cost on proactive manner to give stands against budget.
2.Transportation Management:
oDevelop and maintain transportation dashboards to optimize delivery schedules, routes, and transportation costs.
oMonitor and track performance of transporters and highlight the possible deviation trend.
oDevelop dashboard to overview on the insights of transportation operating cost on proactive manner to give stands against budget.
3.Budget and Cost Management:
oAnalyze and control the logistics budget, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
oProvide regular reports and updates on logistics performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rates and inventory accuracy.
4.Continuous Improvement:
oIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement in warehouse and transportation data analytics.
oImplement new technologies or processes to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance service delivery.
Skills and Qualifications:
Knowledge in logistics, warehouse management, or transportation.
Strong knowledge of MIS, Analytical skills and logical solution designing.
Proficient in logistics software SAP (e.g., TMS, WMS, ERP systems, powerBI).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements related to transportation and warehouse operations.
Ability to manage budgets, analyze financial data, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
