Job Description
- Position: Instrumentation Senior E3D Modeler The Senior E3D Modeler will be responsible for the development and management of advanced 3D models in the field of instrumental plant design. Reporting to the Head of Instrumentation & Automation Department, the candidate will execute project-related tasks with a high degree of autonomy and professionalism. The role requires adherence to company and project-specific procedures on safety and quality control, ensuring the achievement of man-hour, cost, and schedule targets. The candidate will be involved in the following main activities and key responsibilities: Develop and manage sophisticated 3D models utilizing AVEVA E3D for instrumental plant systems. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including piping, mechanical, and electrical engineers, to ensure seamless integration across project designs. Analyze and interpret technical documentation, such as P&IDs, datasheets, and layout drawings, to produce accurate and comprehensive 3D models. Conduct clash detection processes and coordinate resolutions with relevant departments. Ensure strict adherence to project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements. Oversee the maintenance and systematic updating of the projects 3D model database. Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior modeling staff, fostering professional growth within the team. Prepare high-quality deliverables, including isometric drawings, general arrangement layouts, and detailed sectional views. Skills / Qualifications A Masters degree in a technical discipline will be considered a plus. A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in 3D modeling, with a strong command of AVEVA E3D software. Extensive expertise in instrumentation engineering within the industrial sector. Proficient in interpreting and developing P&IDs, instrumentation diagrams, and layout plans. Demonstrated ability to resolve complex design issues and perform effective clash detection. Comprehensive knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes pertaining to instrumentation and plant design. Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment. Meticulous attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering superior quality work within established deadlines.
