    Job Title: Business Development Manager (BDM) Industrial Solutions Experience: 812 years Location: Chennai Industry: Industrial Automation, IIoT, SaaS, Manufacturing Solutions Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead sales initiatives, drive growth, and manage a high-performing team within the industrial solutions sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to consistently achieve sales targets, foster strategic relationships with key stakeholders, and oversee the development and execution of sales strategies. This is a key role focused on expanding market presence and optimizing the sales pipeline across a variety of industrial solutions. This position involves aggressive travel to meet clients, prospects, and partners. Responsibilities: Sales Leadership: Define and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and surpass revenue targets. Team & Channel Management: Lead, mentor, and support a high-performing sales team, resellers, and channel partners to ensure alignment with organizational goals and maximize sales impact. Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities, driving lead generation and relationship-building with potential clients. Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with senior decision-makers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Performance Management: Achieve sales targets, regularly assess performance, and provide detailed reporting and insights to senior leadership. Travel Requirements: 100% travel is expected for client meetings, industry events, and partner engagements. Qualifications: 812 years of experience in B2B sales, particularly within industrial products, automation, or solutions. Demonstrated success in managing sales teams, channel partners, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales objectives. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership capabilities. Deep understanding of industrial automation, IIoT, or SaaS solutions is highly desirable. Bachelors degree in engineering, Business, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
