Description The Application Analyst responsibilities include: Completing detailed process/system walkthroughs with users, gaining a thorough and working understanding of the tasks/processes, generating detailed procedural documentation in support of the direct execution of activities and their related systems/applications, becoming a process and technical expert for a variety of organizational processes, successfully executing managed processes assigned to the role, generating diagrams in support of system processes, actively working to identify process areas where business process and/or application development might be employed to streamline overall process execution and improve process efficiency. The Application Analyst must respond to issues related to managed processes with priority and take responsibility to ensure issue resolution on time and as expected. The role may regularly escalate and drive resolution with global teams. Job Details Role Specific Responsibilities Works directly with enterprise resources as an application expert to collaborate about and respond to tickets for assigned business tasks Supports global teams as a key IT resource for application/implementation support in execution of various processes across multiple systems/applications Proactively leads and conducts assessments to ensure business needs are met Ensures system processes are correctly/fully documented Successfully manages/executes assigned tasks across a variety of applications Escalates issues as needed to process owners/leads Assists in the development of policies and procedures and defining best practices Delivers process/application training to other COE agents as needed Actively promotes and supports a broad range of application standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization efforts Works to support driving process improvement efforts to streamline efficiency Knows and applies the fundamental concepts and principles gained through process/application experience to solve a range of problems Adheres to service management operational policies and best practices, contributing to enterprise and IT service management goals Helps to implement action plans based on application data and metrics/reports Routinely performs process audits based on audit schedules Partners with global teams to develop best practices, track trends, share technical expertise, and improve application efficiency Compliance: Complies with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures, and arrangements Reports all Health, Safety and Environmental accidents, incidents and near misses promptly Acts in a safe and responsible manner at all times Problem Solving and Innovation: Active participation in continuous improvement activities Participates in problem-solving Takes responsibility and ownership for own learning and development in the spirit of continuous improvement of both self and the business Assists in the training, mentoring, and assessment of other team members Exercises autonomy and judgement subject to overall direction or guidance Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Preferred 3+ years as Application Analyst or Systems Analyst Previous experience with systems such as SAP, Planful, S4 Hana, MS Dynamics, Zendesk, Vroozi, Concur, PowerBI, Asana, and Salesforce a plus Previous experience of working for a global organization with stakeholders in different countries and time zones a plus Excellent IT skills, specifically focused on process improvement Strong, professional communication skills, able to approach managers using appropriate level of detail, terminology, and style Strong planning and organization with the ability to see short and long-term goals Focus on detail, errorless delivery and logical reasoning Proactive approach to work with a can-do attitude Fast learner with ability to adapt quickly Ability to discover and define problems, collect related data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions with independent judgement and critical thinking Ability to work independently and as a member of a global collaborative team Strong analytical skills Excellent attention to detail Advanced problem solver Eagerness to fully understand a full process and the related systems/applications Tenacious attitude, works diligently to ensure tasks completed fully with no gaps Embodies the core values of Aurorium: credible: keeps their word and honors their commitments, acts with integrity, and holds themselves accountable to their decisions and actions outcome-oriented: adheres to an unparalleled standard of excellence in everything they do, to deliver results with real impact driven: passionate about delivering authentic, world-class experiences that engage customers and inspire greatness empowered accountability: empowered to achieve common goals and accountable for delivering performances and results that exceed standard Status Active,
