This role will be part of a team of information technology professionals responsible for designing and managing the system used to manage hardware and software assets, overseeing asset quality control, and developing process and architectural improvements. This position requires technical proficiency, the ability to translate technical and business needs into action, an eager attitude, professionalism, and solid communication skills. Responsibilities Business Analyst duties: Develop business requirements to ensure the needs of asset owners, end users of our tools and technology groups are met Prepare and present proposals and/or solutions to management and stakeholders with limited guidance from direct supervisor Build, maintain, and support a program designed to keep an accurate inventory of hardware and software assets throughout the enterprise from procurement to retirement Develop and maintain software tracking processes to reconcile and audit software licenses against assets currently in use Determine license usage and entitlements to understand allowable use Develop and maintain a basic understanding of the data model and functionality of the CMDB and software asset management tools in ServiceNow. Implement reports for use by ICE management and by external vendors/auditors Develop and maintain documentation related to asset management policies, standards and practices for effective asset life-cycle management Work with stakeholders to improve workflow for managing software inventory and related reporting Serve as a point of contact for the software asset management program across the enterprise Produce reports and artifacts as needed to support internal/external software audits Develop and maintain a deep understanding of IT Asset Management policies and procedures Knowledge and Experience Able to develop work plans based on team goals As needed, develop solutions independently or collaboratively Understanding of asset management and IT Service Management best practices, Minimum 2 years of ServiceNow IT Asset Management experience Data analysis and reporting skills to support proposals, identify risk, opportunities for improvement and/or communicate progress on initiatives Ability to develop process/workflow diagrams Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to review vendor contracts to extract key information around software licensing terms Ability to prepare and give presentations Ability to multitask and work independently on multiple projects Ability to organize and run meetings efficiently Ability to perform well under pressure Desirable Skills and Experience Hardware Asset Management experience Bachelors degree Experience reviewing RFPs, RFIs, SLAs, policies and licensing agreements Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau Procurement or sourcing experience Ability to develop process and/or workflow diagrams Schedule This role offers work from home flexibility of 1 day per week.,
