- Overview Backend Developer Job Description The Backend Developer plays a crucial role in our technology team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining server-side applications. Key Responsibilities Design and implement robust backend architecture Create and manage RESTful APIs for smooth data exchange Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability Ensure security and data protection for applications Manage and maintain database systems Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code Participate in code reviews and maintain version control Debug and resolve performance issues Implement microservices architecture for better scalability Stay updated with industry trends and best practices Collaborate with product managers to define project scope Document development processes and maintain technical specifications Work in an Agile environment, participating in daily stand-ups Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 8+ years of experience in backend development Proficiency in Java or similar programming languages Strong understanding of RESTful services and APIs Experience with relational and non-relational databases Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) Understanding of microservices architecture Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work collaboratively in teams Commitment to keeping up with technology trends Skills: microservices,microservices architecture,relational databases,containerization,performance tuning,git,kubernetes,apis,azure,non-relational databases,maven,aws,version control systems,docker,java,restful services,cloud platforms,
