Job Description:
We are looking for a Product Manager specializing in IoT Solutions, to define and deliver innovative products that enable secure and efficient access control systems. Expertise in IoT technologies and strong technical background will drive the success of our IoT-based access control solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for IOT based access controllers, aligned with the company's overall goals and market trends.
- Translate customer requirements and market insights into clear product requirements, features, and user stories for card-based access controllers.
- Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to define technical specifications, ensuring compatibility, scalability, and robustness of the access controllers.
- Stay up-to-date with card-based access control technologies, including RFID, NFC, and smart cards.
- Collaborate with IoT platform providers, device manufacturers, and standards organizations to ensure compatibility and interoperability of IoT access controllers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support, to align on product goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Plan and execute product launches for new card-based access controller models, including defining go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and marketing campaigns.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record of successfully delivering IoT-based products, preferably in the access control domain.
- Experience in defining technical specifications, conducting performance testing, and ensuring compatibility of IoT control systems.
- Strong understanding of card-based access control systems, technologies, and industry standards (e.g., RFID, NFC, ISO 14443).
- Familiarity with hardware and firmware development processes and requirements.
- Proficiency in using product management tools, collaboration software, and data analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with access control systems, protocols (e.g., Wiegand, OSDP), and integration with third-party systems.
- Knowledge of physical security regulations and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) is a plus.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools for efficient product development and delivery.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex technical challenges and propose innovative solutions.
