JOB TITLE: Software Quality Engineer - Manual/ Automation NO. OF POSITIONS : 1 EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 5 + Years LOCATION: Chandigarh EDUCATION: B.Tech/ MCA/ BCA/ Any Technical FUNCTIONAL AREA: IT Software - QA & Testing KEY SKILLS: SDLC and STLC, JIRA, Bugzilla, Testrail or QC (Quality Centre), DB testing concepts, Writing SQL Queries, Exposure in BFSI domain Role and Responsibilities : Bachelor's / Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc with 2-5 years of experience. Analysing the Requirements from the client and participating in preparing Test Plans. Experience in creating test artifacts (Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and Defect Reports). Preparing Test Data for the test cases. Executing and Analysing the Test Cases prepared by other team members. Knowledge of SDLC and STLC . Defect Tracking using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, Testrail or QC (Quality Centre) Knowledge of Databases and DB testing concepts - Writing SQL Queries Work closely with the Developers and Engineers to achieve a high level of code coverage. Take ownership of end to end QA deliverables. Experience in cross browser, cross platform testing of web based applications Familiarity with software quality assurance processes and software testing best practices Excellent analytical and problem solving skills to identify programming errors or inconsistencies. Exposure in BFSI domain . Exposure of working in Agile. Must Have Skills : SDLC and STLC, JIRA, Bugzilla, Testrail or QC (Quality Centre), DB testing concepts, Writing SQL Queries, Exposure in BFSI domain Nice to Have Skills : Experience in testing with different Mobile app OS (Android, iOS & Windows) including working knowledge of mobile development & Testing platforms and tools, testing and deployment technologies. Soap UI Web Services Testing. Working knowledge of automation testing. Support continuous integration process improvement and innovation,
