Play a crucial role in product scoping, roadmap, and architecture discussions with the Engineering and Product Management teams. Ensure the team is cohesive and aligned toward the same goals. Ensure that external project dependencies are properly tracked. Lead effective organizational improvement within the organization. Promote a positive engineering culture that reduces technical debt. Oversee the execution of the team's sprint over the sprint. Demonstrate a clear understanding of your project domain and its immediate surrounding areas; be able to confidently discuss this with other EMs, leads, and leadership team members. Maintain awareness and expertise in the latest cloud and infrastructure, orchestration, and automation visualization technologies to proactively support the adoption of truly beneficial new capabilities. Continuously review the current environment to detect deficiencies and recommend, plan, and implement solutions for improvement. Ensure that all capabilities delivered align with the original business objectives, service levels, IT strategies, and design intent. Recommend new technologies that improve DevOps services, reduce costs, and/or provide a competitive advantage. Drive the definition of project scope and backlog management. Communicate and report status at an appropriate frequency and level of detail for each stakeholder. Collaborate with the architecture and infrastructure delivery teams to ensure consistent solution design and integration. Work with the engineering team to drive practices and processes appropriate to support the entire infrastructure lifecycle Plan, Build, Deploy, and Operate such as automating lifecycle activities, self-service, orchestration and provisioning, and configuration management What are we looking for: 8+ years of experience in planning and implementing cloud infrastructure & devops solution like IaC and CI & CD Minimum of 3 years of experience in handling a team of skilled DevOps. Experience working with development teams building microservice architectures. Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Computer Science. Hands-on experience in designing, building and operating robust DevOps solutions and systems. Experience designing and deploying high-performance systems with reliable monitoring and logging practices. Effectively work across team boundaries to establish overarching architecture, and provide Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Stakeholder management and sprint planning. Expertise in Cloud Infrastructure solutions like Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or AWS Hands-on experience in managing and deploying containerized environments using Docker, Mesos/Kubernetes is a must. Experience with multiple data stores (MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Elasticsearch). Experience in designing highly efficient in-house observability platforms using open-source tools like mimir, thanos, Prometheus and Grafana. Experience in cloud infrastructure security and k8s security.,
