Job Description

A software testing engineer evaluates software to ensure it meets quality standards and functions as expected. They work with developers to improve the software and identify bugs.     
• Test planning: Design test cases, scenarios, and scripts to test software 
• Test execution: Run manual and automated tests to evaluate software functionality 
• Bug reporting: Identify, track, and report bugs and defects to developers 
• Test results: Analyze test results and provide feedback to developers 
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation of test plans, cases, and scripts 
• Collaboration: Work with developers, business analysts, and other team members 
• Communication: Communicate with clients and other stakeholders about testing progress and results
