US Tax Role - Private Equity/Real Estate @ NuStar Technologies

Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist in preparation of workpapers for partnership and corporate filings.
2. Assist in preparation and review of investor tax estimates.
3. Assist in preparation and review of Schedules K-1/K-3, and tax returns.
4. Assist in preparation and review of corporate tax provision calculations for financial statement reporting purposes.
5. Coordinate with fund controllers to obtain necessary financial data.
6. Calculate & coordinate tax payments/refunds for U.S. federal and state tax reporting.
7. Review and assist in resolution of U.S. federal, state, and local tax notices.
8. Liaise with external tax service providers on various tax matters
Desired Candidate Profile
1. Experience in Private Equity/Real Estate/Credit industries.
2. Experience with open-ended fund structures and/or fund of funds structures preferred.
3. Experience with tax technology solutions (e.g., partnership tiering technology used by the larger accounting firms) preferred.
4. Individual must be collaborative to effectively team/liaise with colleagues, management, and service providers, as well as able to work independently.
