- Job Title: Functional Safety Lead (VLSI) Experience Required: 7+ Years Location: Bangalore Notice period: 30 Days (Should be serving) Work Mode: Hybrid Job Type: FTE Job Description: As an VLSI Functional Safety Lead, you will be responsible for planning and leading functional safety activities in compliance with ISO-26262 Functional Safety Standard for silicon HW design. You will work with the different teams on the design functional safety analysis, audit, guide and monitor safety activities across the SoC and the IP development teams. You will be responsible for developing design functional safety verification methodology, evaluating commercial tools, developing template test plan, driving pilot deployment, reviewing and certifying deployment quality, and being the gate keeper of functional safety quality for both IP and SoC to ensure the continuing commercial success of our high-quality products. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field. 7+ years ASIC design, verification, or related work experience. Preferred Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience with the ISO 26262 / IEC 61508 standard including hands-on experience with Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Failure Modes Effect and Diagnostic Analysis (FMEDA) Proven experience in development of automotive SoC including VLSI design and methodology practices. General knowledge in ASIC design process, digital design concepts, design verification tools and techniques, SoC architecture, etc. Prior automotive experience in ADAS and self-driving systems will be an advantage.
