Job Description
Designation: Sr. Executive Web Development
Location: Mumbai HO
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Magento Expertise: 6+ years of hands-on experience with Magento 2 (preferably Magento 2.x versions), including
module development, theme customization, and API integrations.
PHP Development: Proficient in PHP, with strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design
patterns.
MySQL: Strong experience with MySQL databases, including query optimization and database design.
Front-end Skills: Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, and responsive
design.
Version Control: Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
API Integrations: Experience in integrating third-party APIs (REST, SOAP), including payment gateways, shipping
services, CRM, and ERP systems.
Magento Commerce Cloud: Hands-on experience with Magento Commerce Cloud (or other cloud-based platforms
like AWS, and Azure) is a plus.
Magento Certifications: Magento 2 certification (such as Magento 2 Developer or Magento 2 Frontend Developer) is
highly desirable but not mandatory.
Problem Solving & Debugging: Ability to quickly identify and solve complex technical issues.
Testing: Familiarity with automated testing tools for Magento and a solid understanding of performance optimization
techniques
.
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of PWA Studio or GraphQL: Experience with Progressive Web Applications (PWA) and GraphQL for
Magento is a plus.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines: Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment processes and
automation tools.
Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments using project management tools such as Jira or Trello.
Team Leadership: Experience in mentoring junior developers or leading a development team.
Key Roles:
Magento Development: Design, develop, and maintain Magento-based e-commerce websites and
applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and robust security.
Customization & Extensions: Implement and customize Magento modules, third-party extensions, and custom
functionality as required to meet business needs.
Frontend & Backend Integration: Collaborate with the team to integrate Magento with third-party services
(payment gateways, shipping providers, ERP systems, etc.) while ensuring seamless functionality across frontend
and backend systems.
Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Magento sites, ensuring high
uptime and fast page loads for a superior user experience.
Code Quality: Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices. Conduct code
reviews and ensure high standards are maintained across the development process.
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex issues, resolve bugs, and enhance site functionality based on feedback
from stakeholders.
Version Control: Maintain codebase using version control systems (Git/GitHub) and follow Agile methodologies
for continuous delivery.
Collaboration: Work closely with the HQ team, MIS team, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver
high-quality products within project timelines.
Security & Compliance: Implement best practices in security, ensuring Magento installations are fully compliant
with data protection laws (GDPR, PCI, etc.).
