Positions Title : QA Automation Engineer - BFSI Experience Range : 3 to 8yrs Notice Period: Immediate joiners Location: Chennai/Coimbatore Skills: Selenium, Appium, Postman. Automation Testing. Key Responsibilities: Develop test strategies, plans, and schedules for web and mobile applications. Perform functional, regression, system integration, and exploratory testing for both web and mobile platforms. Conduct end-to-end testing for workflows such as Mutual Fund transactions, NAV calculations, portfolio management, and other critical processes. Design and maintain automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks. Integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment cycles. Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar platforms. Collaborate with development and business teams to clarify requirements and ensure quality assurance standards. Mentor and guide junior testers to enhance overall team productivity. Conduct mobile application testing across platforms (iOS, Android) to ensure compatibility and performance. Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing for web applications to ensure consistent functionality. Validate API integrations and test data flow between front-end and back-end systems. Leverage BFSI domain knowledge, particularly in the Mutual Fund space, to test critical business scenarios. Prepare detailed test execution reports and share insights to improve testing processes. Conduct database testing by writing SQL queries to validate data integrity. Perform performance testing using tools like JMeter and analyze system bottlenecks. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on the BFSI domain (Mutual Fund experience preferred). Hands-on experience in web and mobile application testing. Proficiency in test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks. Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman. Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
