Job Title: Vice President Accounts & Taxation Location: Mumbai Reporting To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Team Size: 10-12 members Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic VP Accounts & Taxation to lead our finance function . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in promoter-driven companies with a turnover of 1,000-1,500 Cr. The candidate should be hands-on, sharp, and proactive, with strong expertise in SAP & IND AS. Key Responsibilities: Financial Management & Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with IND AS and regulatory requirements. Accounts Finalization: Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, ensuring compliance with statutory and internal reporting requirements. Taxation & Compliance: Oversee direct & indirect taxation, including GST, Income Tax, and Transfer Pricing. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and optimize tax planning. Audit & Internal Controls: Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors to ensure timely completion of audits. Implement robust internal controls and financial governance. Budgeting & Forecasting: Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, providing insights to optimize cost efficiency. SAP Implementation & Optimization: Leverage SAP ERP to enhance financial reporting, control, and operational efficiency. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements, including SEBI (for listed entities), RBI, and MCA guidelines. Risk Management: Identify financial and operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of 10-12 finance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with banks, financial institutions, regulatory authorities, and key internal stakeholders. Qualifications & Experience: CA (Chartered Accountant) / CPA or equivalent qualification. 15+ years of experience, with a majority in the manufacturing industry. Currently working in a manufacturing promoter-driven company with a turnover of 1,000-1,500 Cr (listed company experience preferred). Strong technical knowledge of IND AS, SAP, and tax laws (Direct & Indirect). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
