Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager, Procurement! In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing Tactical spend for one of Genpacts client in the CPG vertical delivering sourcing strategies. Responsibilities To source tactical projects within Indirect, Spend categories ie., Topline / Marketing, Professional Services and Logistics To drive initiatives to increase savings delivery Ability to proactively identify opportunities for negotiations, drive favourable pricing and contractual terms Ability to benchmark existing prices against historical and external market prices To perform spend analytics to identify best available market price for the ongoing project. Support other team members with tools/knowledge & expertise during ad hoc tactical sourcing negotiations To liaise with the users and stakeholders to understand their sourcing requirements and close them in the given time frame To negotiate and conclude sourcing projects within standard timeframe Ability to drive buying channel compliance To carry out all reporting requirements accurately and within the specified timelines To proactively engage with internal sourcing initiatives to enhance knowledge & expertise on specific commodities or sourcing categories Ability to effectively deal with suppliers and stakeholders locally, regionally & globally (we are calling it a tactical spend) Supply base knowledge in specified categories enabling onboarding of new cost-effective suppliers. Will be responsible for savings delivery against the set targets, concluding the sourcing projects within agreed timelines, Customer Satisfaction, Will participate in periodic reviews with global category leads, regional and local procurement functions to ensure strategy alignment Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications / Skills University graduate (Engineering graduates to be preferred) Working experience (for tail spend management): (post qualification) in a similar environment and sourcing categories) Previous procurement experience as per Genpact band mix in Tactical negotiations Preferred to have prior exposure in at least one category (e.g. IT, Telecom, Marketing & Advertisement, Professional services, Print, Mail & Postage, Primary / Secondary transportation, Warehousing) Negotiation skills aligned to experience levels Good analytical, strong communication & interpersonal Skills Need to be strong team player Should be excellent in MS Excel in addition to having good working knowledge of MS Word and Power Point Exposure in working with typical ERP tools deployed in Procurement environment (Coupa, SAP etc.) Language Capability Verbal and Written: Fluent in English / regional (based on the markets supported) Location: Working Hours, if based in India and working for other time zone Preferred Qualifications/ Skills [CPSM, CIPS, ISM, Indirect Sourcing across categories] JobSenior Manager Primary LocationIndia-Gurugram ScheduleFull-time Education LevelBachelor's / Graduation / Equivalent Job PostingFeb 26, 2025, 5:18:44 AM Unposting DateMar 28, 2025, 1:29:00 PM Master Skills ListOperations Job CategoryFull Time,
