We are happy to inform you that KL University having an immediate requirement forPurchase Manager / Purchase Officer in Purchase Department Job Role : Purchase Manager / Purchase Officer About Position: We are inviting applications from experienced candidates for the post of Purchase Manager / Purchase Officer preferably from engineering services background, for our Vijayawada location. Knowledge on: Material planning, procurement, warehousing, and distribution, vendor development, material substitution, compliance to regulatory aspects. Desirable experience would be 5+ years in Procurement operations. As a Purchasing Manager you will be responsible for sourcing equipment, goods and services and managing vendors. The successful candidate will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals and find more profitable suppliers. Roles and Responsibilities: Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company. Supply Management, Tracking Budget Expenses, Vendor Relationships, Organization, Customer Service, Documentation Skills, Supply Management, Manufacturing Methods and Procedures, Manufacturing Quality, Cost Accounting, Control Engineering. Maintain the requirement and supply of material. We are in need of a smart & dynamic persona as Purchase Manager responsible for keeping records of vendors, comparative analysis, process PR, negotiating, pricing, taxation, warehousing, distribution to multiple centers etc. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Communicates with suppliers and to make sure supplies get where they need to be when they need to be, even when a deadline is tight. Responsible for timely procurement of all materials, products and services required for the production and ensure no line stoppages. Engineering (B.E / B. Tech) Or Any Management degree or equivalent discipline (preferably full- time from a renowned management institute). Job Location: Vijayawada - Andhra Pradesh.
