Designation: Officer Updated: March 17, 2025 Location: Gujarat, India Organization: Chemicals Job Description: Job Purpose To drive and facilitate employee learning & development, support SH in driving Talent Management initiatives Job Context & Major Challenges Chemicals Business of Aditya Birla Group produces Chlor-Alkali products among other Chemicals through seven units situated in different parts of the country. Eighth unit is under project phase. ABG is largest producer of Chlor Alkali in India with a market share of approx. 26%. One of its state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities is based at Vilayat having the capacity to produce 1000 TPD of Caustic. The Unit also produces Chlorine derivates namely Chlorinated Paraffins (CP), Poly Aluminium Chloride (PAC powder & liquid), Stable Bleaching Powder (SBP), Phosphoric Acid (PA), Aluminum Chloride (ALCP), SCO & CBGP. The unit, located in the chemical hub of South Gujarat at Vilayat, is poised for an ambitious growth. Major Challenges: Continuous skill up-gradation & competency mapping of employees through trainings and other initiatives. Driving E-Learning initiative effectively Effective Implementation of Talent Management process as per BHR Guideline Key Result Areas KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters) Supporting Actions (Max 1325 Characters) KRA1 L&D Rewards Management To create mechanism to highlight and reward learners basis their active participation in various learning initiatives KRA2 L&D MIS To prepare and monitor Training Slippage, Participation rate and coverage index monthly To create event & sessions and create attendance roster in CSOD Platform Prepare L&D tracker in CHRO Dashboard Maintain E-learning Tracker KRA3 Talent Management Support Execution of MDPs of Talent Pool members by helping them with various learning opportunities Ensuring and coordinating Potential Assessment of eligible employees and their DAC Process. To audit MDPs and plan to review MDPs of select employees on monthly basis KRA4 Training Effectiveness Management To deploy methodologies of Training Effectiveness evaluation as part of program design. KRA5 TNI Identification & Execution To collate training needs through MDP, Appraisal forms, Confirmation review documents and other sources for all employees Preparing yearly and monthly training calendar based on Training need Assessment Working closely with HODs of different departments and having a full understanding of their units and training requirements Identify and select external training agencies and accreditation bodies necessary to deliver required training Development of internal trainers Coordinating with safety department for safety training Regular follow-up with managers for the nomination of employees for different training programs Create monthly E-Learning schedules and ensure execution Skill Matrix Creation Competency Mapping creation Qualifications: Master of Business Admin Minimum Experience Level: 2-8 Years Report to: Senior Manager,
