Job Description

Designation: Senior Executive Updated: August 04, 2024 Location: Punjab, India Organization: Paints HO Job Description: 1.Responsible for upkeep, maintain and manage program changes in EWM and integration with ASRS of FG and PMG. 2.Work towards throughput improvement of ASRS cranes by implementing program changes in EWM. 3.Responsible for any logic modifications and decodes existing telegrams and modifies according to new requirements. 4.Works closely with OEM vendors to overcome operations challenges and debottlenecking for smooth functioning of EWM. 5.Responsible for integration of EWM with DCS / MES and other OEM Warehouse softwares. 6.Responsible for implementation and integration of Truck Management Systems with other key plant operations softwares like DCS / MES and EWM. 7.Ensures integration of third-party systems like CCTV, FAPA etc with core EWM / TMS softwares. 8.Works closely with IT team to ensure availability of EWM / OPC communications / Third party communication channels etc. 9.Works closely with packing team to ensure seamless integration with all packing PLCs / Robots / ATS Conveyors / STVs etc. 1.Responsible for Management all the PLC backups and ensure proper change management of around 100 Nos of Packing PLCs, Utility area PLCs, Flowmeter PLCs. 2.Executes any change in Logic for improvement in operation/OEE of packing machines. 3.Upkeep of all network architecture records and ensures ZERO network issues. 4.Responsible for integration of all PLCs with supervisory systems like DCS/MES/EWM. 5.Responsible for optimizing and improving control system performance, reliability, and efficiency. This may involve implementing software updates, incorporating new technologies, or redesigning control logic to enhance system capabilities. 6.Responsible for designing control systems for new Capex project requirements. 7.Responsible for all the 3rd party PLC integration. 8.Collaborates with OEM for any major design modification and implements the same.
