Were Hiring: Press Tool Designer (Progressive Tools) Location: Pune Job Type: Full time Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Press Tool Designer with experience in Progressive Tool Design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing precision press tools. You will be responsible for developing cost-effective and high-performance tooling solutions for our automotive and electronic components. Key Responsibilities: Designing Progressive Press Tools for high-speed presses. Work with customers on DFM and incorporate necessary changes. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to create reliable and cost-effective tooling. Oversee tool setup, trials, and adjustments for flawless operation. Provide technical support for tool maintenance and troubleshooting. Qualifications: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Press Tool Design, specifically working with Progressive Tools. Diploma in tool and die making. Expertise in CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid edge, or similar tools). Hands-on experience in designing progressive dies. Strong understanding of materials, tool manufacturing processes, and mechanical design principles. Experience working in the automotive, electronics, or switches and relays manufacturing sectors is a significant plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
