Job Description

Role Overview At unifyCX, we are seeking a Data Scientist with exceptional technical skills and a proven history of developing data-driven solutions that achieve measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in advanced machine learning, database management, and cloud platforms to contribute to our innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in generating valuable business insights, creating impactful machine learning models, and ensuring that data science projects are aligned with the overall business strategy. Key Responsibilities Business Use Case Development : Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and needs, and develop detailed, actionable business use cases. Translate business objectives into clear data science problems and solutions, ensuring the final models align with strategic business goals. Create use cases that clearly articulate expected business outcomes and performance metrics. Machine Learning & Predictive Modeling Design and implement machine learning algorithms and models using frameworks like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch to solve complex business problems. Develop and maintain robust, scalable machine learning pipelines and workflows for model development, training, and deployment. Perform model evaluation, hyperparameter tuning, and optimization to ensure the highest level of performance. Data Management & Integration Manage and manipulate large datasets, ensuring quality, consistency, and integrity. Work with various database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB to extract, clean, and preprocess data for analysis. Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate machine learning models with database systems and other backend services. Cloud Platform Expertise Utilize cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure to build and deploy data science models at scale. Leverage cloud-based tools and services to automate workflows, ensure scalability, and optimize performance. Project Methodology & Collaboration Apply best practices from Agile, ITIL, Prince2, or Waterfall methodologies to ensure efficient project execution and timely delivery of data science solutions. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, engineers, and product managers, to ensure the alignment of data science projects with broader business goals. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark. Knowledge of version control systems like Git and experience with model deployment tools and platforms. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker or orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Proven ability to deliver clear, business-oriented insights from data. Strong coding skills in languages like Python, R, and SQL. Experience in working in an Agile or Waterfall project environment. (ref:hirist.tech),
