Skills: React, Angular, mapbox, D3.js, tableu, API, leaflet, Role: Frontend Developer(Mapping and Visualization) Location: Remote Notice period: Immediate joiners Experience: 5-7 years Responsibilities Work closely with the engineering and operations teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective mapping and visualization solutions. Develop interactive and visually engaging maps and visualizations to illustrate vehicle movement within depots and on roads. Utilise GIS tools and techniques to generate accurate and detailed maps, integrating real-time data for dynamic representation. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in mapping technologies, GIS tools, and visualization techniques to ensure our solutions remain innovative and competitive. Collaborate with backend developers to integrate front-end components seamlessly with backend systems. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of mapping and visualization functionalities to ensure optimal performance and user experience. Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, helping to resolve any mapping or visualization-related challenges. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience as a Front-End Engineer or Consultant, specializing in mapping, visualization, and animation. Extensive knowledge of GIS principles, mapping libraries (e.g., Mapbox, Leaflet), and data visualization tools (e.g., D3.js, Tableau). Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular). Strong understanding of web development best practices and responsive design principles. Experience with APIs and integrating data from various sources. Familiarity with transportation and logistics domains is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.,
