- The Purpose of This Role PLACTA is a growing startup. As part of our team, you will be part of a highly talented team which is focused on building a modern SaaS solution for the pharma manufacturing industry. This new platform will be completely on the AWS cloud and will provide various new capabilities & improved features to the end customer. The ideal candidate will play the role of a Principal Software Engineer for the micro services applications. The candidate is expected to design and develop APIs, manage code reviews & deployments, lead junior members on the team and coordinate with various stakeholders for development. You will be part of the Technology leadership team and will have an opportunity to work in a pharma industry domain along with an opportunity to innovate new digital solutions for this domain. The Value You Deliver As a principal software engineer, you will be accountable for delivering seamless customer experiences through secure and scalable digital solutions bringing new ideas and implementing them in collaboration with other team members producing quality software solutions aligning with our guiding principles of on-time, on-budget delivery with zero defects ideating, designing, developing, testing and productionising our SaaS solutions part of the technology leadership team mentoring highly talented and energetic associates who focuses on digitalization of the pharma manufacturing space. building standards and guidelines which can be leveraged by other members of the team triaging customer problems and building problem resolution knowledge base driving automation to produce high quality software and enabling speed-to-market Technical Skills The Skills that are key to this role Performs and extends to development in the following technologies in Node.Js, Java Script, Angular and MongoDB 7+ years of hands-on experience with Object Oriented programming with hands-on experience in applying design patterns Full understanding of secure development process including analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, problem resolution and planning. Proven track record as a Technical Lead and crafting new solutions Experience or certification in Cloud-based (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) architectures Desire/ability to learn and implement new technologies Experience with Agile development methodology Experience with Micro Service pattern, Event based services like Kafka & SOA methodology Experience of consuming and designing RESTful APIs, Event-based systems and good knowledge of standard methodologies in API design Designing and development front-end UI technologies like Angular is required Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages (Java, C++, Javascript/ NodeJS) Experience with messaging middleware like Apache Kafka, or AWS Cloud Strong knowledge of Microservices architecture Good understanding of automation (testing, continuous integration/deployment) Hands on experience with AWS EC2, Relational and non-RDBMS databases and containerization of applications Experience in building CI/CD pipelines and automation for AWS migration Experience with the following is a plus: GIT, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA Behavioural Skills Passion to work in a fast-paced start-up ecosystem wearing multiple hats on any given day Leading technology solutions to deliver business value using Agile methodology Ability to work with a variety of individuals and partners, both in person and virtually, in a constructive and collaborative manner Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve issues by making timely decisions based on facts, knowledge, experience, and judgment Ability to present formal and informal presentations in various settings; one-on-one, small and large groups, with peers, and senior management Commitment to quality and high standards and works under minimal direction Mentoring junior engineers on concepts like Simple Design and SOLID patterns Reviewing the code built by other team members and ensuring the standards and adhered and engineering team guiding principles are enforced The Expertise Were Looking For Bachelors degree in computer science or any other discipline 8 - 10 years of IT experience implementing enterprise grade technology solutions AWS Certified Architect or Developer is a plus To find out more, visit placta.com, please email us at hidden_email.,
