    REPORTING RELATIONSHIP POSITION REPORTS TO: SENIOR MANAGER FINANCE/ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT: QSF ACCOUNTING POSITION LOCATION: VADODARA, GUJARAT, INDIA (On-Site) Budget: 10,00,000 - 13,00,000 PA. POSITION SUMMARY Assistant Manager QSF Accounting is responsible for supervising the accounting and banking operations of all Qualified Settlement Funds as well as maintaining proper documentation on policies and procedures relating to QSF accounting. This position will oversee all financial controls ensuring the financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Planning, directing and coordinating all Accounting activities Maintains and enforces a documented system of Accounting policies, procedures and internal safeguards Evaluating Accounting and internal control systems Oversee the operations of the Accounting function, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives Hire, train, develop and lead the Accounting staff with the goal of maximizing the strengths of each team member to create an efficient, high functioning team Conduct probation review, performance evaluation of team members in line with company policies Develop & publish reporting metrics of KPIs Understand and adhere to all company policies, including but not limited to security, trade secrets and confidentiality of all information PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE Graduation (Bachelors) in Business, Accounting or Finance; Masters degree will be an advantage 8+ years of work experience in managing Accounting team, which should preferably include 4-5 years experience in BPO/KPO/ITES industries Having prior experience of leading large teams and resolving conflicts at work by providing constructive feedback Experience with QuickBooks and/or Oracle NetSuite preferred Exposure to other popular Accounting applications, such as Tally Experience with Microsoft Office, including excellent Excel skills Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal with problem solving ability Strong attention to detail BEHAVORIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES Positive attitude and high on professional morale Ability to effectively work with cross functional teams Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment Must be multi-task oriented and able to work with frequent interruptions Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organization and priority setting skills. Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision Team Player with a professional attitude Job involves supporting & coordinating with on-shore team based out of US offices and hence requires flexibility to work in any shift and/or on Indian holidays as well.,
