Practice Architect- Snowflake @ CitiusTech

• As a Practice Architect - Snowflake , youwill be responsible for designing and implementing data engineering solutionsfor life science organizations

• They collaborate with clients to understandtheir business needs and create custom solutions that meet their requirements
• They also provide guidance and expertise to internal teams to ensure that dataengineering projects are completed on time and within budget
• Demonstratedability to have successfully completed multiple, complex technical projects andcreate high-level design and architecture of the solution, including class,sequence and deployment infrastructure diagrams.
• Take ownership oftechnical solutions from design and architecture perspective for projects inpresales phase as well as on-going projects.
• Prior experiencewith application delivery using an Onshore/Offshore model
• Experience withgathering end user requirements and writing technical documentation
• Time managementand multitasking skills to effectively meet deadlines under time-to-marketpressure
• Suggestinnovative solutions based on new technologies and latest trends to sales team.
• Review thearchitectural/ technological solutions for ongoing projects and ensure rightchoice of solution.
• Work closely withsales team and clients to understand their business, capture requirements,identify pain areas, accordingly, propose an ideal solution and win business.

Education

• Engineering Degree BE / BTech / MTech
• Technicalcertification in multiple technologies is desirable

Mandatory Skills

• Must havetotal 15+ yrs. in IT and 3+ years experience working as a snowflake DataArchitect and 5+ years in Data warehouse, ETL, BI projects.
• Must haveexperience at least two end to end implementation of Snowflake cloud datawarehouse and at least 3 end to end data warehouse implementations
• Expertisein Snowflake data modelling, ELT using Snowflake SQL, implementing complexstored Procedures and standard DWH and ETL concepts
• Expertisein Snowflake advanced concepts like setting up resource monitors, RBACcontrols, virtual warehouse sizing, query performance tuning, zero copy clone, time traveland understand how to use these features
• Expertisein deploying Snowflake features such as data sharing, events and lake-housepatterns
• Hands-onexperience with Snowflake utilities, SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Big Data modeltechniques using Python
• Experiencein Data Migration from RDBMS to Snowflake cloud data warehouse
• Deepunderstanding of relational as well as NoSQL data stores, methods andapproaches (star and snowflake, dimensional modelling)
• Experiencewith data security and data access controls and design
• Experiencewith AWS or Azure data storage and management technologies such as S3 and ADLS
• Buildprocesses supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependencyand workload management
• Proficiencyin RDBMS, complex SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, performance tuning andtroubleshoot
• Provideresolution to an extensive range of complicated data pipeline related problems,proactively and as issues surface
• Must haveexpertise in AWS or Azure Platform as a Service (PAAS).
• CertifiedSnowflake cloud data warehouse Architect (Desirable).Should be able totroubleshoot problems across infrastructure, platform and application domains.
• Must haveexperience of Agile development methodologies.
