Salary : 50k to 90k
Key Responsibilities:
* Academic Administration:
* Develop and implement academic policies, procedures, and regulations in
collaboration with university leadership, faculty, and other stakeholders.
* Oversee the registration process, including course scheduling, class
enrollment, and grade reporting.
* Coordinate the academic calendar, including semester dates, examination
schedules, and registration deadlines.
* Collaborate with academic departments and faculty to ensure accurate and
up-to-date curriculum information.
* Student Records and Services:
* Oversee the management of student records, ensuring accuracy,
confidentiality, and compliance with privacy regulations.
* Develop and implement student registration systems and processes,
including online portals, to facilitate efficient enrollment and record
management.
* Coordinate the issuance of transcripts, certificates, and other official
documents related to student records.
* Provide guidance and support to students regarding academic regulations,
policies, and graduation requirements.
* Compliance and Reporting:
* Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation
standards pertaining to academic administration and student records.
* Prepare and submit reports to government agencies, accrediting bodies, and
other stakeholders as required.
* Stay abreast of changes in higher education regulations and policies and
implement necessary updates to ensure compliance.
* Staff Management and Development:
* Supervise and lead a team of administrative staff responsible for various
registrar functions, including registration, records management, and student
services.
* Provide training and professional development opportunities to staff
members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork,
collaboration, and effective communication.
* Institutional Committees and Collaborations:
* Serve as a member of various institutional committees, contributing to
strategic planning, policy development, and decision-making.
* Collaborate with other university departments, such as admissions, financial
aid, and academic advising, to ensure efficient coordination and support for
students.
* Represent the registrar's office in university-wide events, meetings, and
initiatives.
