    Job Purpose Provide Leadership to the Application Development Team to implement new/additional ERP modules and its integration with SAP, strengthen IT activities by providing cutting- edge IT solutions to drive the business results, Quality information / MIS to the management for effective decision making to enhance organizational efficiency/operations leading to improved Productivity/Accuracy/Order Cycle time/cost. Benchmark critical business processes and continuously identify opportunities for improvement, continuous enrichment of SAP solution and deliver best in class support SLAs. Job Context & Major Challenges Job Context: Essel Mining & Industries Limited (EMIL) is a part of US$ 66 billion global conglomerate Aditya Birla Group. EMIL is having business interests in Iron Beneficiation and Pelletization (1 MTPA), Integrated Mining Services (~50 MTPA Coal), Commercial Coal Mining, manufacturing of Noble Ferro alloys, generation of Renewable Energy - Wind & Solar (Capacity 155 MW). EMIL is also one of the largest integrated mining service company with mining operations in the states of Bhubaneswari Coal Mine in Odisha (PRC 30 MTPA), Amelia Coal Mine in Madhya Pradesh (PRC 5.6 MTPA), and Rajmahal Coal Mine in Jharkhand (PRC 17 MTPA). EMIL is also developing Subhadra Coal Mine in Odisha with PRC of 25 MTPA and commercial coal mining project Bandha in Singrauli district in Madhya Pradesh with PRC of 5 MTPA. EMIL has vast experience across entire value chain of mining activities, starting from obtaining required statutory clearances/approvals, exploration, drilling, blasting, excavation, material handling, integrated infrastructure development including railway sidings, marketing, deliver minerals/products to customers, etc. Major Challenges: It includes accelerate growth, develop and implement projects with integrated infrastructure and achieve peak rated production, develop talent pipeline, train and enhance people skills, improve competitiveness, debottleneck existing operations, optimize working capital, enhance ROCE of overall business, diversification into new age minerals, drive digital initiatives in line with future technological changes, and sustainability initiatives to make mining business future ready.ddress complex requirements of diverse users while having heterogeneous backend technologies. Design common processes & solution with option to address varying localized requirements Manage user resistance towards change management driven by systems Coordination with and dependence on multiple stakeholders (on which the incumbent will not have any control, and some of them may have different priorities) for timely delivery of solution (during project phase), and resolution of issues (during sustenance phase) Managing resources between Support and multiple projects/ locations without impacting application Support SLA and project timelines Fast changes of technologies have reduced life of application which means, ensuring applications forward compatibility with the contemporary technology and software. Proactive legal, statutory and audit compliance in wake of dynamic business scenario. Ensuring zero down time of all IT Applications (SAP & other ERPs) for the Business productivity in remote location due to poor connectivity. Key Result Areas KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters)Supporting Actions (Max 1325 Characters) KRA1 Planning, designing & implementing relevant Application solution for the Business Understand the Business requirement and benchmarking (internal and external) to identify opportunities for process improvements Understand product roadmap (SAP and other ERPs) to look for best-practices relevant in Business context Gather inputs (from market vendors external peers) critical to make step/ exponential improvements in respective functions. Participate in requirement elicitation process defined in the project management plan to identify requirement gaps/issues (both functional and nonfunctional) in order to come up with a comprehensive requirement document Configure/evaluate industry micro vertical/service/solution requirements and document for Management representation. Work with UH / FH etc and prepare business case recommending roadmap & implementation of improvements. Finalise solution design in SAP for all new initiatives, enhancements & change requests. Ensure execution of SAP configuration & related developments as per solution design in adherence to project timelines Ensure user acceptance test, regression testing & end user training Support change management during implementation of projects & enhancements where required KRA2 SAP & ERP system management Ensure maximum availability of IT Applications (SAP & Other ERP system) for operational efficiency. Ensure maximum availability and enhance usage of SAP system by analyzing and Identification of critical / recurring problems by taking corrective steps. Improve usage level by analysing trends of most common issues Work with SMEs/ FHs to drive standardization of processes, data, controls and reports Analyse usage of IT systems and work with FHs to improve usage Develop business KPIs with inputs/ help from SMEs Analyse business KPIs and make suitable recommendation to FHs for improvements Ensure that SLAs are maintained Seek regular updates from the Section Heads on incidents logged for respective application Knowledge sharing with Other Business in ABG Group where new / existing SAP is implemented/maintained. KRA3 Stake Holder Management Device plans for communication with all stake holders related to Application management for the Business. Guide Team to attend multiple stakeholders issues & concerns for timely delivery of solution. Act as senior resource to deal with various matters with customers like periodic reviews, escalation management and guiding on project execution Identify end user training needs (each location), develop training calendar. Execution of End user training plan Conduct Internal & External customer satisfaction survey on periodic interval and plan corrective measures based on the same. KRA4 Quality & Risk Planning Provide understanding of project processes to the team members and provides inputs on process tailoring and quality goals in order to finalize project quality plan. Conduct secondary research that helps to identify the issues & concern areas in existing Applications. Provide inputs for technical risk planning with module perspective in order to ensure on time delivery of project. KRA5 Compliance management & Audit Ensure system is aligned with internal, Statutory and control related compliance requirements,
