Job Description Job Title: Lead Advisor - Operational Risk Management Management Level: P3 Job Category: Manager Job location Bengaluru Summary/Objective This Second Line role is responsible for supporting ongoing data aggregation and analysis relative to the Banks Operational Risk Profile and operational loss monitoring. Core responsibilities are to facilitate ongoing independent and holistic assessment of operational losses across the enterprise. Incorporating data on internal and external factors that could impact FCBs operational risk exposure currently or in the future, as applicable. Developing active relationships within internal stakeholders on top and emerging operational risks, losses, and key trends. To perform this role, a prominent level of interaction is required with First Line business units and associates at all levels of the organization facilitating and ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Primary Responsibilities Operational Loss Monitoring: Sources, compiles, and interprets operational loss data via performance of complex analysis on risk trends and data discrepancies as well as directs the analytics efforts of a work group. Supports business processes through a variety of escalated operational tasks, including development and continuous improvement of procedures, documentation, and controls. Acts as a resource to management and other associates, including production of documentation, presentations, or other materials to educate or communicate on risk reporting trends related to Operational Loss and the overall Operational Loss Profile. Fosters business unit relationships and implements training to promote engagement and proper adherence to program minimums, including compliance with all risk policies and standards. Risk Reporting: Facilitates and produces reports based on data analysis, company trends, and operational losses conveying patterns, problems, and areas of improvement. Enables insight into potential losses and mitigation of identified risks through reporting activities summarizing enormous amounts of information succinctly. Owns methods or analytics needed to provide intelligence through utilization of various program data. Maintains a prominent level of attention to detail in the execution of their work. Expertise in dashboard and report development using various tools and resources (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau) * Manages complex technical matters and participates in special projects, including key risk management initiatives, which improve risk management capabilities. Requirements Bachelors degree in accounting or finance/Risk operations. Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, with at least five years in an operational risk management, internal audit, or compliance role and preferably large financial institution. Ability to directly interact with key internal, leverage relationship management capabilities and demonstrate problem solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written Exceptional organization, analysis, decision making and documentation skillset. Must be able to meet deadlines. Advanced PC Skills including Microsoft office (e.g., Excel, Visual Basic for Applications and PowerPoint) Knowledge And Skills (Preferred Not Mandatory) Experience working with a GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) application (e.g., Archer) Experience with operational risk senior management and regulatory reporting (e.g., FR Y-14Q Schedule E) Knowledge of regulatory guidance pertaining to enterprise risk and operational risk (e.g., FDIC, OCC, FRB, CFPB, etc.) Prior experience with development of end-user guidance, process workflows, targeted communications, and training Equal Employment Opportunity ,
