Job Description As an Engineering Manager at our company, you will lead cloud-based software projects, ensuring the design, development, and deployment meet high standards of quality, security, and performance. How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn Lead and mentor a team of cloud software engineers, fostering collaboration and a high-performance culture. Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud software projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope. Design and architect scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions, applying best practices in cloud technologies. Integrate emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning into cloud solutions. Implement Agile methodologies to streamline development workflows and enhance productivity. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Strengthen leadership and team management skills by providing regular feedback and fostering continuous improvement. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations, expanding knowledge of cloud technologies, AI, and other emerging tools. Key Skills And Experience You have: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with over 10 years of experience in software engineering, including at least 4 years in a managerial role. Proficiency in Java 8, with a willingness to adopt new programming languages such as Go or Python. Strong understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies. It would be nice if you also had: Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect). Knowledge of AI, machine learning frameworks, and tools. Knowledge of serverless architectures and event-driven systems. Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and regulatory compliance.
