This role involves working closely with our mortgage due dilgence stakeholders to understand their needs, analyse data, and contribute to the development of strategies that enhance our products and services. Key Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements related to mortgage and capital markets operations. Data Analysis: Analyze large sets of data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Create reports and visualizations to communicate findings effectively. Process Improvement: Evaluate existing business processes and workflows. Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact to VP, Solutions for project updates and progress. Support VP, Solutions in the facilitation or readiness of meetings and workshops. Solution Development: Work with technical teams to design, test, and implement solutions that meet business needs. Participate in the testing phase to ensure that solutions are functional and meet the specified requirements. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in the mortgage and capital markets sectors. Provide insights to help the organization remain competitive. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process maps, and user manuals. Risk Assessment: Identify and analyze potential risks associated with proposed solutions or business changes. Develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with stakeholders. Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Job Skills: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, PMP) is a plus. 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the mortgage or capital markets industry. Strong understanding of mortgage products, capital markets, and related regulatory environments. Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) and experience with business process modeling. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Ability to meet deadlines. Physical Requirements Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time. Ability to use computer keyboard and monitor for extended periods of time.
