Storage Consultant (exp. Data Center) @ Wipro

Job Description

*Candidate with working in Data Center environment and implementation exp. is preferred. Job Description: Design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient storage solutions that meet the needs of the organization. Analyse and forecast storage needs, recommending upgrades and improvements, as necessary. Implement and manage storage solutions, including hardware (like disks and tape drives) and software (like data management and backup software). Ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities for all critical data. Monitor performance and adjust storage systems to optimize speed and efficiency. Stay updated with emerging storage technologies and trends and assess their applicability to the organization's needs. Implement security measures to protect data integrity and privacy. Provide technical support and guidance on storage-related issues. Lead the deployment and configuration of storage systems. Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and resource optimization. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate storage solutions with existing infrastructure. Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture and procedures. Skills Strong understanding of various storage technologies (SAN, NAS, cloud storage, etc.). Proven experience in storage systems and architecture. Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and data replication techniques. Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure Creation of Design Documents (HLD & LLD) Knowledge of data protection, disaster recovery, and data lifecycle management. Proficiency in data management protocols such as NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and team collaboration abilities. Ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members. Additional Requirements: Willingness to travel as needed for projects and consultations. Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.,
