We are currently seeking a Senior Data Science Specialist (DES) to join our team in Bangalore, Karntaka (IN-KA), India (IN). Location Bangalore and Chennai ( Hybrid ) Skills and Abilities: Strong expertise in statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, machine learning and advanced inferential and analytics techniques. Proficiency in optimization methods such as linear programming, integer programming, and metaheuristics (e.g., genetic algorithms, simulated annealing). Advanced programming skills in Python and R, with experience in libraries like StatsModels, SciPy, PuLP or Pyomo for optimization. Strong SQL skills for querying and managing structured and unstructured data. Familiarity with big data platforms such as Databricks and distributed computing frameworks like Apache Spark. Knowledge of data visualization tools and methods to present complex findings effectively to diverse audiences. Proficiency in designing and conducting controlled experiments (e.g., A/B testing) and interpreting their results. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and address technical challenges effectively. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to build strategic relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and partners. Strong critical thinking skills to generate innovative solutions and improve business processes. Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Detail oriented with the ability to assist with executing highly complex or specialized projects.
