Job Description
KRAs
Project Management -
Plan, Manage & Execute all projects at ACML through all phases of design till commissioning. Conceptualize & develop project plans in line with business requirements. Evaluate project alternatives, define project scope, goals & deliverables in collaboration with all stakeholders. Carry out options study and freeze schemes related to all mining & related infrastructure services like power supply, transmission lines, sub-stations, mine pumping, mine lighting, CHP, mine automation, railway siding and dispatch arrangement, roads, culverts, drainage systems, service & housing buildings, workshops, stores etc. The scheme shall be worked out in tandem with mine planning and design team in an integrated manner to meet the process and business objectives. Draft & submit budget proposals for finalized projects. Ensure timely project delivery within defined scope & cost by adhering all ESG compliances. Development of Coal handling and preparation plant flow sheets in conjunction with the resource exploration team shall be part of the core function of the team Project manpower and other resource planning along with mine planning team. Assisting the corporate team in obtaining Regulatory approvals for the projects. Ensure Quality control of the projects throughout its life cycle. Coordinate with all internal & external stakeholders for seamless project execution.
Compliances & Operations-
Ensure adherence to all established SOPs and reporting formats Project reviews with site project team for project schedule monitoring, expenditure vs execution monitoring, cost control, catch up scheduling, if any, deployment of resources etc. Bringing operational efficiency, bench-marking the various process parameters for achieving operational excellence, optimizing process cost parameters to maximize profits. Standardizing of the process to the extent possible, P&M items along with spares for bring about cost reduction, monitoring of aging of spares.
Define Best Practices Standard & Policies
Adopt best practices, standards, and policies in the areas of project finance, capex optimization, project cost estimation, risk management and stakeholder analysis to enhance project execution capabilities with the business and gain acceptance for the same by interacting with project teams across project / business Capitalization of Project assets and related aspects like Mechanical completion, commercial production, and their functional impact on project return
Engineering
Development of front-end engineering design (FEED), detailed design, specialized process engineering design so that multidisciplinary engineering supports for the project execution with schedules are obtained for tendering and evaluation of processes for EPC contracts. Design service support across process, mechanical, piping, pipelines, instrumentation, electrical, electronics and communication, civil and structural engineering. Conducting Basic & Detailed Engineering for projects.
Team Development
Establish individual performance expectations and regularly review individual performance of the team Support team members/ intermediaries in delivering their responsibilities in business as usual and resolve their concerns/ challenges, if any Train team on project management & technical capability to ensure they follow the right project management techniques and can plan & execute.
PARAMETERS
QUALIFICATION - Bachelors degree in Engineering,
PMP certification preferred.
Exprience - Overall experience of atleast 15-20 years in Project Management. Experience in Mining projects preferred. Previously handled projects across multiple locations, teams, and cultures. Strong understanding of technology trends in the projects and engineering vertical. Ability to effectively manage external vendors and stakeholders. Familiarity with project management software
