- Job Title : Database Administrator (DBA) with AWS Cloud Experience Location : Bangalore (Work from Office) Work Hours : 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST Experience : 6+ years Job Description Are you a passionate Database Administrator (DBA) with a strong background in MS SQL and hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Our team @ Procain is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in Bangalore. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a consulting environment. Key Responsibilities Database Management : Maintain and optimize MS SQL databases to ensure peak performance, availability, and security. Backup & Recovery Implement robust backup, recovery, and migration procedures. Performance Monitoring Continuously monitor database performance, applying necessary changes and updates. Troubleshooting Diagnose and resolve database-related issues : Partner with development teams to design and enhance database structures. Data Integrity Uphold best practices for data integrity and database management. Documentation Create and maintain comprehensive database documentation, including data standards and procedures. Consulting Provide expert technical support and consultation to clients. AWS Cloud Management Manage and optimize databases within AWS Cloud environments, ensuring efficient use of cloud resources. Cloud Integration Develop and implement strategies for integrating on-premises databases with AWS Cloud services. Security And Compliance Ensure databases in the AWS Cloud comply with security policies and best practices. Qualifications And Skills Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience : 6+ years as a Database Administrator with a focus on MS SQL. Technical Skills : Proficiency with AWS Cloud services and infrastructure. Expertise : Deep understanding of database security, backup and recovery, and performance tuning. Soft Skills : Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent analytical skills, and effective communication skills. Team Player : Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Preferred Qualifications Consulting Experience : Previous experience in a consulting role, delivering technical support and solutions. Certifications : AWS and/or MS SQL certifications. Additional Knowledge : Familiarity with other database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud).
