Job Responsibilities: Work directly with customers and have a solid understanding of the Oracle Applications and Database support processes. Responsible for providing solutions to CSS customers where database performance is an underlying cause of our customers dissatisfaction with contracted CSS services. Main contact for Oracle customers during Hyper Care engagements. Advise our customers regarding database performance topics and provide solutions. Monitor and optimize system performance using index tuning, disk optimization, and other methods. Mandatory Skills: Experience working on Database performance optimization and SQL Tuning. Should have strong Oracle tech skills - PL/SQL, SQL. Should have experience in analysing SQL Plan and suggesting alternative solutions. Identifying bottlenecks through tools like AWR, Indexing strategies. Identifying and resolving performance issues related to slow queries, excessive I/O, and resource contention. Understanding of Exadata Architecture and Performance optimization features. Must be a Self-Starter who can demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and independently. Strong problem-solving skills and should have participated in supporting critical phases of projects.,
