About the Role Optimization-related algorithm Design & Implementation: Develop, optimize, and maintain complex Java algorithms for high-performance applications using Java. Problem Solving: Tackle challenging computational problems in Operations Research and Data Science with innovative solutions. Performance Optimization: Analyze and improve the efficiency of algorithms to meet performance requirements. Code Quality: Ensure the development of clean, well-documented, and maintainable code in Java and Python. Research & Development: Stay updated with the latest advancements in optimization algorithms and apply them to solve real-world problems. Client and team collaboration: Work closely with clients/cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into broader systems and solutions. Job Requirement Desired Skills and Experience 4+ years of total IT experience with 3+ years in Data Science A strong Computer Science/Operations Research background from premier institutes like NIT/IIT. Have a passion for writing high-quality code (Python and Java) and the code should be modular, scalable, and free of bugs. Experience working on solvers such as CPLEX, GUROBI, PULP Implementation optimization models such as Linear Programs (LP), Mixed Integer Linear Programs (MILP), and Quadratic Programs (QP) Comprehensive knowledge of SQL and excellent working experience with Excel Translates quantitative strategies into simple business advice for those without tech backgrounds Ability to deal with large volumes of parameters, metrics & numbers in general.,
