- Job Description Strategic Leadership : Drive the development and implementation of information security policies, standards, and practices. Serve as a key advisor to senior management on security and data protection-related issues. Risk Management Identify, assess, and prioritize information security and data protection risks. Develop risk mitigation strategies to protect the organization's assets and data. Compliance And Regulatory Oversight Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards such as GDPR, CCPA, etc. Develop and maintain data protection policies and ensure employee adherence. Incident Response And Management Oversee the development of the incident response plan and manage incidents as they arise. Conduct post-incident analysis to refine response strategies and prevent recurrence. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with IT, Legal, HR, and other departments to foster a culture of security and privacy. Act as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on data protection matters. Training And Awareness Develop and deliver training programs to enhance awareness of information security and data protection across the organization. Foster an organizational culture that prioritizes security and privacy. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security and data protection roles. In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to data protection and security. Proven experience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively. Proficiency in using security management tools and software.
