We are looking for a talented Backend API Developer with a strong background in PHP and SQL to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust APIs that power our applications and services. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using PHP, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Design and optimize SQL databases to support application requirements and data integrity. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of APIs to ensure reliability and security. Monitor and optimize API performance, resolving any issues that arise. Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and define specifications. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement. Requirements: Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus. Familiarity with API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger, Postman). Knowledge of authentication and security practices for APIs. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with a focus on API development. Strong proficiency in PHP and SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.). Familiarity with PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) is preferred. Understanding of RESTful API principles and best practices. Experience with version control systems, such as Git. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
