Job Description

Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to lead the design and development of scalable, efficient, and secure server-side applications using cutting-edge technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in PHP, Python, or Node.js, with expertise in REST API development, SQL and NoSQL databases, and a passion for writing clean, modular, and secure code. Key Responsibilities 1. Lead the design and development of complex backend applications using PHP, Python, or Node.js. 2. Architect and implement scalable RESTful APIs to interact with frontend applications and third-party services. 3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements. 4. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance. 5. Implement automated testing and deployment scripts to ensure high-quality releases. 6. Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. 7. Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues. 8. Optimize database performance and query optimization. 9. Ensure backend applications are secure, reliable, and scalable. 10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge. Requirements Technical Skills 1. 4+ years of experience in web solutions and services development. 2. Strong proficiency in PHP, Python, or Node.js. 3. Experience with RESTful API development. 4. In-depth knowledge of SQL (e.g., MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). 5. Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and TDD (Test-Driven Development). 6. Knowledge of secure coding practices and OWASP guidelines. Desirable Skills 1. Experience with Go or Java programming languages. 2. Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes). 3. Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure). 4. Experience with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka). 5. Familiarity with microservices architecture. Soft Skills 1. Self-motivated individual with a strong desire to learn and grow. 2.
