Job Description
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Manage and lead the BI Engineering team and work closely to create technical solutions and provide direction.
Create a product vision and strategy, as well as a long-term and quarterly roadmap, to achieve the product vision and make an impact by improving efficiency.
Effectively support multi-work stream engagements, prioritize client requests, and work objectives leveraging appropriate project management methodologies and tools such as project plans and issue logs.
Manage a geographically diverse team of resources across USA, Canada, UK, and India
Act as an escalation point and lead in removing impediments to achieving goals and objectives.
Drive innovation and manage teams within a fast paced, agile environment.
Effectively manage issues and risks that arise during the lifecycle of the project/engagement.
Coach, guide, and promote the creation of high-quality, clearly documented, and compliant deliverables across teams.
Enable integrated teams to deliver technology-driven analytics solutions in support of key initiatives by working closely with product & project managers and developers.
Collaborate within and across business units to prioritize, plan, and execute strategic goals.
Desired Candidate Profile & Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of total experience with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in analytical end-to-end solutions.
Experience building and managing complex, large-scale enterprise function(s) with resilience.
Good understanding of BI and Data Processing technologies like Tableau, Alteryx, Python, Redshift/Snowflake.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Bachelors degree where course work could include (either): Statistics, Computer Science, or Information Technology. Candidates with masters preferred
Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining applications.
Experience in writing requirements specifications and collaborating with engineers and designers to produce a high-quality product.
Experience designing multi-tier web application architecture.
Knowledge of Project Management Tools like Azure DevOps/Jira
Strong understanding of development using HTML5, CSS/SASS/SCSS and JAVASCRIPT, Django & Rest Framework.
Good knowledge of Python, SQL, and Tableau
Travel domain knowledge is a plus.
Ability to deal with ambiguity and present/discuss work results in a compelling manner.
Team player, Flexibility/ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
