Job Description

We are looking for a SCADA Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in designing and implementing SCADA systems, along with a basic understanding of PLCs and IoT concepts. This role involves working on industrial automation, real-time data acquisition, and system integration. Responsibilities: Design and develop SCADA solutions for industrial automation projects. Work with PLCs, sensors, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, Profibus, etc.). Configure and deploy SCADA systems (Exor, Movicon, WinCC, Citect). Develop data visualization, alarms, and reporting functionalities. Integrate SCADA with databases (SQL, SQLite) for data logging and analysis. Ensure network security and reliable communication between SCADA and field devices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed SCADA systems. Have a basic understanding of IoT and how it interacts with SCADA and industrial automation. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field. Experience in SCADA system design (2+ years preferred). Basic knowledge of PLCs and industrial automation. Familiarity with communication protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, Profibus, TCP/IP). Experience with SCADA configuration and HMI development using Exor, Movicon, WinCC, or Citect. Knowledge of databases (SQL, SQLite) and data analytics tools. Basic understanding of IoT concepts, including cloud connectivity, MQTT, and data transmission. Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to troubleshooting. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with industrial networking and cybersecurity best practices. Familiarity with redundant SCADA architectures and high-availability systems.
